Totally friggin awesome beast,it reminds me of the 1st olds that I bought from a good friend in highschool from, with goodies except it had drum brakes and I absolutely loved it and I was hooked on cuttlass's ever since then, I owned at least 25 cuttlass's from 68 -76 and I loved all of them very much,they were very powerful machines and had a great body style and were reliable and very fast, the old's cutlass that I bought from my good friend ran low 12's in the 1/4 mile at the Atco speedway in Atco NJ with modifications that I did to the car ❤️😎👍

The Red cam covers are Found on the GTS with F1 trans. If it had the Fully automatic ZF trans they would be blue instead. He should have bumped on the sport mode before showing off engine sound, it would have been even nicer. Exhaust gates open more in sport mode. I noticed he did not discuss the F1 trans. At 16k miles it might actually need a 5k $ clutch.

Yeah my father bought one brand new in 75' triple burgundy with the power moon roof but I wouldn't call the 180 HP 400 a muscle car 😂 yeah this doesn't sound stock for sure. But it felt "Kool" driving it to school in 78' when I had the chance with the awesome tilt console it had. We owned the car for 25 years and he still got good money for it. If I remember correctly you could get a 455 also but I think it only made 200hp in the trans am the 400 had an extra 5 HP over our stock 400 probably due to the exhaust system being duals on the trans am but not much faster. Beautiful car here brings back memories 😅

This is a gorgeous car. I had a new red '71 convertible. I absolutely loved it. I know I'm nitpicking, but from an esthetics standpoint, I would have either kept the faux wood on the entire dasboard or painted it the color of the car mimicking the earlier models. Instead of offering to add a decal along the rocker panels, I think the original twin strips of chrome missing from this car, that run along each side from wheel well to wheel well, really gives this beautiful example that authentic, original, handsome look.

How tall is Mr. Fleming? Are legroom issue for long drives? Thanks
